Public Service Commission (PSC), also known as Lok Sewa Aayog, was established in Nepal on 15th June 1951 AD. PSC is committed to employing qualified personnel to fill various civil service positions required by the government of Nepal.
The committee has been involved in the candidate selection process since its establishment. The PS have been functioning as a self-governing body since it was elected under the current constitution of Nepal in 2007.

Government employees don’t have to worry about renewing contracts or getting fired on the spot by Superintendent or Director because there are numerous procedures for such action to be taken and one has to have committed illegal activities to get fired. So, when you enroll into the job, you are secured for 30 years of worktime or up to 58 years of age.
